Lets Gift Meena a Helpful Good Bye

Ill-health is an uninvited visitor whom no one can ignore. Bad health and sickness knows no age, no people, no place - it is a dark misery that worries us all. Meena had been a survivor of Breast cancer and came to New Zealand from Fiji after ages, blessed with good health to visit her family; little did she know that this wouldn’t last long. Unfortunately, she became severely ill and had a cardiac arrest during her stay here.She was revived by the medical team here, giving us some hope and ended up in the ICU in Dunedin, New Zealand, with much hope for recovery. As she had been full of life before this health deterioration, the medical team tried every possible treatment for about 3 weeks as per Meena’s wishes. As per her wish, we never gave up on her life even it meant paying 3X COSTs of trying all possible and the very best of medical care available for metastatic cancer in New Zealand.Unfortunately, we could not save her, however we are satisfied that we tried every possible medical treatment to help her.

We are left with about a $100,000 bill at-least and happily working towards raising some funds as our deed of appreciation for the humble, humane, helpful Meena Kumari.
