Help Support Nicci, Jon, Brody and Luke make some memories and provide them some financial relief.
Hawke's Bay
Nicci (31) has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Ewings Sarcoma. She has two young boys Brody(8) and Luke (5) and a fantastic supportive partner and Stepfather to these boys Jon.
Nicci and fam have received a trip to Auckland (https://www.facebook.com/race4lifetrust/posts/1566043360193677) for Nicci to make some special memories, however given that Jon has recently given up work to become Nicci's fulltime caregiver- money is a concern.
Any funds raised here would firstly go to give this family some spending money for their trip, secondly would go towards supporting the boys and thirdly and most devastatingly Nicci has stipulated that it should be used for funeral costs.
Nicci is putting up a brave strong fight and is currently receiving aggressive treatment but her condition is not curable.
I have known Nicci and Jon for many years and want to help support them and the boys, money is not everything but when you are facing a battle of this magnitude financial stresses should be the least of your worries.
Funds raised will be used as 1. Spending money for their make a wish trip 2. Financial Support for her young boys and 3. Funeral Expenses
Fly High Nicci 6 July 2019
Nicci, Jon and the boys got to enjoy their holiday and make some special memories.
Tragically however, Nicci passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones on 4 July at 6:16am.
Thankyou to all who have already donated, the money to date has been used for their holiday and for funeral arrangements, however these arrangements are a significant cost and it was Nicci's wish to leave a legacy for her boys - any future donations will be put into a trust for the boys to access at a later time in their lives.
Nicci was so humbled and appreciative of every bit of support sent her families way.
We know you are watching over your boys Nicci, they will always remember you.
