Spinal stroke recovery - let’s get Becs walking again
Auckland
On Saturday the 28th of June the unimaginable happened.
Bec suffered a spinal stroke and is paralysed below the waist.
She is currently being cared for by the amazing team at North Shore hospital.
Long term recovery will need to take place in a spinal rehabilitation unit.
Becs needs the best care and support possible to get her back on her feet.
If you know Becs you will know how incredibly determined she is. She is also exceptionally proud. But to beat this we need your help.
Bec is self employed. Covid-19 depleted her rainy day fund. Reality is being unable to work means zero income.
We appeal for your help, if you can.
Please spread the word by sharing with your network or messaging your friends.
Rebecca is my lil sister. I’ll be right by her side with unconditional love and support.
Living expenses (rent/storage, car payment, bills, every day costs eg toiletries). Medical expenses (additional therapy sessions for Becs physical and mental wellbeing). Long term, costs for appropriate accommodation.
Thank You All 12 July 2020
Hi to our family and friends. Apologies that it has taken this long to get round to thanking you all. This last 2 weeks has been challenging to say the least, but if not for everyone's collective support would've included immense financial pressure too. We sincerely appreciate your generosity. Please remember Becs in your thoughts and prayers and continue to share ❤
