    13th day in a🏥

    Hopefully sitting here for the last time watching the sun 🌞 rise over Auckland CBD. Charge nurse starts at 8 a.m. we should know more than but the pretty certain that we are out of here today heading to Hutt or Wellington Hospital. 🙌

    Off has ng feeding tube all of his lines out just having a small amount of oxygen when he sleeps.

    Daddy he got him to eat some mashed potato last. And he back on his full amount of bottles.

    We are on the mend ❤❤❤❤

    Morning ritual listening to his favourite bad wolves song....😁❤🙌

    Breathing is pretty good. Hopefully we can lower the highflow today.

    Blood pressure is not great. But hopefully as all the drugs wear out of his system it will get better.

    Our biggest thing at the moment is his drug dependency. He is coming down of a major 11 day high! He has the shakes so bad. He is on small doses of morphine to wean him off. "weaning dose" they call it. It is so horrible to watch!! We should know tomorrow if we are going back to wellington hospital before home or not. But we can't go anywhere till his drug dependency is sorted.

    Good progress overnight.

    They thinking about taking him off the nitric gas, he has halved his usage overnight.

    His ventilation system gone from 50 to 35 over night. 24 hours ago it was 100. So we making progress on that too.

    After a shit few hours we are making progress!

    Slow and steady..

    Ventilator coming down. Halved how much gas he was having from this morning. We are winning at the moment.

    But as we all know that can change at anytime. 🙏

    No change....not worse. Not better....they have told me we are in for a long recovery as he is not responding to the drugs. He has now been Given another drug to keep him asleep...who knew it would be so hard to make a Weaver sleep?! 🤦‍♀️

    So for now we wait. When I came in this morning he started moving about and squeezed my hand 😭😭

    I miss his cheeky grin so much. Now been 4 days since I seen him smile 😕
