Helping Dante get to the World Hip Hop Dance Championships in Phoenix Arizona
Rolleston, Canterbury
If you know Dante, you are the lucky one! Dante is a fun, sweet, caring, respectable and dedicated young man. He has been dancing from the age of 6 and at the beginning of this year was selected to join a dance team in Auckland and they have since been selected to compete at the HHI 2023 World Hip Hop Championships alongside his crew, I-descendents being held in Phoenix Arizona from July 30-August 6.
Being 18 years old and not having ever lived on his own or so far away from his family - Dante was given 1 week to arrive in Auckland if he wanted a chance to make his dream of dancing on the world stage come true.
Being as fearless as he is, he got on the plane, found a full time job, a studio apartment and is working as hard as he can to pay for his daily living costs as well as the significant costs of travelling to the United States on top of dance practice!
This is where we come in, I have no doubt in my mind that Dante would pull this off himself but I feel he shouldn’t have to!
Anyone and everyone that knows Dante knows he deserves to live this dream and I’m sure you would love to help make his journey just a little easier for him so let’s help him out!!
If you would like to assist in his journey to compete on the World stage in Phoenix, Arizona alongside his crew, I-descendents this July/August please donate! Any help is greatly appreciated ❤️
