Diego Quispe-Kim, born in Christchurch, has loved Tennis his whole life! He picked up his first racket at the age of 3, coached by his dad Juan - he’s never put it down!
At 5 years old Diego started winning club Championships and Tournaments in the U9's at 6 winning the U10. This has continued, Diego is now 16 yo’s and this year won all three Junior International Tennis Federation tournaments in New Zealand, beating NZ’s best 18-year-olds. Thus, enabling him to play in all 4 Grand Slams, via the qualifying rounds.

So, here’s how we can help.
We need to raise $25,000 to support Diego in his efforts – including travelling to Europe to compete in high level competitions and continue to grow and gain experience. The goal is to expose him to what professional tennis has in store!
Diego has a loving family, who are dedicated to supporting their boy achieve his dream. But as we know, Tennis can be an expensive sport that enables those who can afford to participate the opportunities, more than it ever will a young future pro with an immense amount of potential.
Diego is a well-liked and respected young man, who is always giving back to the tennis community. His humble demeanor extends beyond his age and it would mean the world to be able to support him to shine.
We, Pakuranga Tennis Club, believe in Diego and have taken him under our wing to support him in his quest to become a professional tennis player.
