    So just giving you all a update

    Last Monday pete and I along with his children went to oncology to be told the plan for pete

    This was very scary for us and sadly the news is pete has Metastatic thymus carcinoma cancer, which is very rare, and the people that have it in New Zealand is in single figures. So needless to say it's not curable or treatable as they know nothing about it . So treatment options are limited.. they going to give him a scan in 3 months to see where we at . We also got told that pete only has 2 to 3 years ....none of us have a crystal ball . We have made a few decisions this week and it's still undecided if pete going back to work .

    Hi all

    A update on what's happening with pete .

    He is now at home doing well but going to be a long road .He has intravenous antibiotics for another 3 weeks as well as oral twice a day .

    We have no idea when he will be back at work will be at least another 6 weeks . I stared back at work on reduced hours so I can help pete in the morning and home early in the evening .

    It has been great having the grandkids coming over for visits

    We go to oncology on the 5th of July to find out what's going to happen about the cancer

    So just giving you all a update ...After pete having 3 surgeries in 2 weeks 2 of them were life threatening we have the results back from the first operation and it breaks my heart but he has cancer ❤.

    The surgeon wants him to recover from surgeries...Then we go to the oncology specialist to see what can be done .. he coming home on 7th June. I now off work to care for him

    Hi all I thought I would give you all a update . As we have family and fantastic friends in chch ...we have family and fantastic friends around NZ We have family and fantastic friends around the world australia and America. ...

    This is a whole new world for us but I am so so proud of my amazing husband such a fighter ....we in the early days of him recovering from a trauma experience. Now we are home he's slowly getting into a routine. We have nurses coming every day to support us which is great. I'm proud of myself looking after him it was a bit scary to start with but I've got it now .. we going for walks also ..hes enjoying my cooking. Family with grandchildren were here today for a fish and chips lunch thank you Emma. Xx

    Friends popping in also has been great....im now off work for 2 weeks to care for pete . WE doing well we make a great team ... thanks for your love and support ❤xxx
