Our very valued colleague Scotty has been affected terribly by the flooding that happened this Auckland anniversary weekend.

There was a massive mud slip due to the water which significantly damaged the property he has been renting rendering it uninhabitable.

Scotty, his partner, their son and their student who has only lived in the country for 9 days have had to move out of the house while he finds a new rental.

Sadly, Scotty didn’t have insurance so everything that has been damaged has to be replaced out of pocket.

We all know Scotty, and he would never ask for anything. We would love to help him get back on his feet. Any amount will be a huge help and please feel free to stay anonymous if you wish.

Just a note to say thank you so much for all the support, kindness and generosity we have received. We have been completely overwhelmed by the kindness of people throughout this whole event. Thank you to both of our workplaces, Showerwell Home Products and Northshore Hospital who have been extremely understanding and supportive. Thanks to all our family, friends, workmates and wider community. Your support has meant a great deal to us and really helped us through.
