It was Floyd’s 3rd birthday on the 12th April and I think this one hits home more than any other as we came so close to losing him last year :-(

But, he’s a fighter! He’s strong, determined and fearless and he’s progressing every day!

Floyd and his amazing family are beyond grateful for the donations received so far. They’re truly helping with his ongoing rehabilitation costs and ensuring he keeps that goofy grin on his face xx

  • Always Smiling But Still A Long Way To Go

      30 March 2024

Look at the smile on Floydo’s face and that of his sister! He loves being able to go walking and on holidays with his family but he’s still working really hard at his sessions to get more movement in his legs.

Specialised sessions cost money so any donation is so gratefully accepted! A huge thank you to everyone who has donated this far x

  • Huge Update!

    Hi all,

We just wanted to share some pretty incredible news with you all.

Floyd has not only been out ‘riding’ with his sister in his brand new buggy, bought with your generous donations, but his hydrotherapy sessions are paying off and he has started moving one of his back legs!

I can assure you there were tears all around! The sessions have been intensive but with the news that there was less than 5% chance he’d walk again, to see him move one of his back legs on his own is extremely positive progress!

There’s still a long way to go and these sessions aren’t cheap so if you can share this page far and wide it would be hugely appreciated but please know, the donations so far mean so much xxx

  • Update regarding Floyd’s progress

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, we’re beyond grateful!

A wee update: Unfortunately Floyd's prognosis isn’t great :-( we got the news recently that he has a less than five percent chance of walking! We are now looking into alternative therapies such as red light therapy, tens machine for muscle stimulation, drag sack and scooter to try and encourage more front leg strength and play time with his sister Frankie. Floyd is still attending physio 2 times a week and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately he’s developed quite severe anxiety when it comes to getting in the car, which he has to every day, to go to work with his mum. He's also not able to be left for long periods on his own, however he is super happy when at home with his family and sister Frankie. He's enjoying being out in the sun as the weather is warming up. We are forever hopeful that he will be the 5% and walk again 🙏
