Help our beautiful Susan, with living expenses, medical care and funeral costs, so she can spend precious time with her family.
Whakatane, Bay Of Plenty
After several illnesses over winter, our beloved Susan — mum, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and lifelong ballet teacher — received the devastating news that she has Stage 4 cancer, with only a few months to live.
Dance has been her lifelong passion. Remarkably, even in her 70s, she continued teaching, inspiring hundreds of children and giving countless hours to her students and end-of-year concerts. Her kindness, generosity and acceptance of people from all walks of life have touched so many. Even now, her radiant spirit shines through.
After a lifetime of giving so much to others, it is our turn to give something back to her.
Having had to stop teaching immediately, Susan has lost her main source of income. She hopes to remain in her own home as long as possible, spend precious time with her children, and share family dinners and memories together.
We are raising funds to urgently help cover rent, electricity, groceries, transport, medical and home nursing needs, funeral and burial costs. These financial worries are an enormous burden at an already heartbreaking time.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help ease that burden, allowing Susan to focus on comfort, family and making the most of her precious time.
If you cannot donate, please share this page with your friends and wider community.
Let's surround Susan with the love and support she deserves. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every donation, share and act of kindness.
I am Susan's niece, and her children - my cousins - my only extended family I have in New Zealand.
Weekly rent, electricity, groceries, fuel, last days treatment. Essentials like towels, bedding and what is needed for nursing and care at home. Funeral costs. Taking care of moving her last household items and cleaning the house.
Thank you for the donation, much appreciated. Blessings. xx
