A little update From Ryan :-)

I have FINALLY received the new chemo drug from Australia and have had my first dose today.💊💊💊🤙🏼
On Wednesday the order for ponatinib was finalized and put on the credit card.. at this stage i have purchased the first bottle and will see how the drug takes effect on my body and what side effects present before i go ordering the next bottle.
How the funding works is that i have to find the money for the first four bottles and if the drug is working the pharmaceutical company in Australia will then fund it.
however the first four bottles is the expensive part (as described in the give a little page)
I am truly amazed at the incredible generosity of the already 327 donations and don't know how to thank you all enough , but ill just do my best to keep on fighting this thing as I guess that is the ultimate reward we are all striving for.
I love every email ,card , facebook update, txt , baking and dinners being dropped off at home , and am doing my best to read them all , however it is physically impossible for me to reply to them all so please do not be offended if i send a very basic or generic reply.
I have been spending my days catching up with friends and family and getting out and about while im feeling reasonably OK, but with the serious risk of infection i still have to keep isolated from contagious people , so please do not plan on visiting if you know you are sick !!!
lastly a huge shout out also to the medical team who have been working around the clock on my case and lets hope to get some good results from this new chemo in the coming weeks,
