Levi's Wish 4 Fish

Give 8-year old, Levi, the chance to fish with his family ! Levi’s "Wish 4 Fish" seeks to fundraise for an automated fishing rod, that has special piano key functionality, that Levi can use to fish with.

Levi, lives with cerebral palsy, a physical disability that affects gross and fine motor function, making simple activities such as independent and deliberate movement, difficult. Fishing is an activity the whole family loves - Levi and his family would dearly love to see Levi having some independence and experience fishing, himself ! Having an automated rod that Levi can press to use while seated in his wheelchair, will be a game changer !

Our family desire is to take Levi fishing in a way that he can sit supported in his wheelchair and partake in fishing. This will be very special ! As most of the time Levi can only sit on the sidelines and watch activities and not partake.

Not only is it a chance to enjoy all that boating offers in New Zealand, but if offers the chance for Levi to travel and have new experiences, from exploring bays, seeing marine life and being with his family doing an activity that the whole family loves. We also hope to take some of Levi’s friends who have similar physical disability challenges, on our fishing trips. The automated rod is a game-changer !
