Leylas NF1/ Seizure journey

Leyla is a 4 year old girl who has always been full of life and energy. She was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis type 1 and seizures earlier this year. She has had 2 MRI's since February which showed she has multiple tumors in her brain and spinal cord. The report states an optic glioma is also possible. We are having to take each day as it comes and keep up with the regular checks In hope that her condition doesn't worsen as it seems to have effected her quite dramatically in such a short space of time. She has had many long and tiring trips to the hospital due to her not being well.

She has been finding day to day tasks more difficult. She's becoming more light and noise sensitive by the day, and often gets stomach/head aches we believe are a result of her seizure medication. Leyla was taking prescription CBD oil (in addition to her seizure medication) which we found really helped her, however we recently had to take her off it due to affordability as it is not funded.

It has not been a nice journey so far and we appreciate any support to provide leyla the help she needs to help her live more comfortably.
