Embarrassed by generosity for Lin!
22 February 2020I truly am a little abashed by the generosity of our 80th Birthday Party Guests, and I know Lin will be blown over by the response. We sure look forward to hosting you all on April 3 at Black Cottage.

Dear Friends of Allison.
On behalf of Lin, thank you so very much for your kindly generosity in contributing to her Birthday Travel Fund.
I had thought of arranging a ZOOM-Birthday Luncheon, but it only took one second to realise that wouldn't have been much of a gastronomic occasion. So we will 'take a rain check' - as they say - till we can treat you to a proper Four-Score-Years celebration.
We have about $800 in the Give-A-Little fund that has been finalised and placed in a separate account. When we know when travel is OK, we will arrange with Lin where she wants to go for her holiday and I shall keep you informed.
Again thanks for joining in on this venture for Lin.
