Linda and family have lost everything while in Starship with her son Seth preparing for a kidney transplant

Linda is an amazing mum of 4 who has had a very tough run. Her son Seth is seriously unwell and currently in Starship as he prepares to undergo a kidney transplant. Linda is donating her kidney to him. The father of two of her kids has also been seriously unwell with an aneurysm and stroke. Her mum (the children's nana) has just passed and they have only just had her funeral.

This anniversary weekend she has just lost everything in the floods as the house (in Tauriko, Tauranga) the car in the garage is underwater. Thankfully her children and a friend looking after them were rescued by the police by boat were not hurt. Unfortunately, they did not have insurance as things have been tight with additional costs of travel to hospital and not being able to work for the duration of the treatment and surgery.

These funds will help replace household effects/clothing etc as well as easing the financial burden of not being able to work. It has been a very stressful period and losing everything they own on top of this has been a huge blow to the family.

Small items can be dropped off at Tauriko school and we will have a storage unit this week where we can take furniture and larger items directly. Any support for Linda and her family will be gratefully received.
