When setting up this page, we stated this would be paid to Lisa's account. It will in fact be paid to a joint account of Lisa and Fiona. The funds are being held in an account being used specifically for treatment funds.
Wow - we are so honoured with the support to date. The goal was removed as the original goal supported one months treatment and we thought it was asking a lot to reach that.
First day on the new treatment done today! We travel to Auckland for this to see the oncologist that was recommended by someone who has beaten stage 4 bowel cancer. A few cool things today:
👆🏼Lisa had never met the ‘someone’ mentioned above who has beaten cancer, but has spoken and text her heaps. This ‘someone’ unexpectedly popped in to meet Lisa in person today.😁
✌🏼One of the nurses on today was the brother of Caitlin Regal, one of the kayakers who won gold today, while we were in the clinic 👏
🤟🏼Lisa is in a way better state at the end of the day than after a chemo day. 🥳🥳
