Little contribution can make a huge difference

As you will have seen news article below, there are thousands of migrants who are brought in to New Zealand under Accredited Employer Work Visa scheme and now finding themselves in desperate situations due to no work and no income.

While food and accommodation for these migrants is now being looked into, We are inundated with calls and messages of similar situations.

At the same time, we are humbled that many people in New Zealand are offering a helping hand. Therefore, I am setting up this give a little page so we can use funds raised to meet immediate needs to migrants in struggle.

At Union Network of Migrants, an organisation which was established in 2012, we get contacted by migrants through word of mouth or social media pages like Facebook.

While we can not meet every need of every migrant workers who are exploited, the purpose of funds raised will be to meet immediate basic needs like food, clothing and shelter for anyone who is grossly exploited and have no other source to meet basic needs until we connect them with other relevant organisations.
