Over 30 brand new Little Dribblers Football Kits were burnt in the fire.
Our new Term 4 Little Dribblers will be looking good when they arrive.
More good news of sorts. The guy who stole the van and used it in the burglary of Petone Plumbing World was arrested and spent the weekend in the cells.
He was released on Bail on Monday.
Insurance has covered the neighbouring Green Van which was also written off.
In total we lost 2 vans, 30 balls, 6 goals, 30 new football kits, 10 pairs of shin pads, 12 pairs of new boots, a 120 a/h sealed house battery and isolating kit and other bits and pieces used for running Little Dribblers Football and tournaments.
Thanks VERY MUCH to everyone who has donated so far. It's been fantastic and humbling to see and hear the support we have in the community from families and small businesses. Thanks to everyone including the kids who have made us cards.
We are hoping to be back to 'normal' within the next 3 weeks
