Long Recovery Road Ahead

    Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, sent get well wishes ✨

    Over the last two weeks Stacey's daughter has come home from Starship and is at home adjusting to life with a back brace for 4/6 months. She is doing well most of the time.

    Stacey has had surgery on her smashed leg and is now able to get up out of bed and into a wheelchair.

    This milestone has meant that she was able to go home yesterday after 3 weeks in hospital.

    Her family are glad to have her home and are adjusting to the new challenges this has presented until other surgeries are needed and more healing and mobility is gained.

    Please accept this as our personal appreciation on behalf of Stacey and Family.

    Surgery for Stacey's 13yr old Daughter went well although longer than expected due to some undiagnosed conditions.

    She is finding it too painful to walk.

    This will delay her coming home which is making it emotionally and mentally harder.

    Stacey is in a lot of pain since they have moved the pins/rods etc for her upcoming surgery to fix her smashed leg.

    They have also found her hand broken and she has that in plaster.

    Her Partner and other children are missing them 😔
