    It is with a very heavy heart that I write to inform of Ronnie’s passing last night.

    A sudden turn that decided it was Ronnie’s time to leave.

    Gone but never forgotten, fly high gentle giant.

    All funds raised will be released to Carrie Richmond-Joyner, to support the family with costs for the funeral and anything that will help ease any financial strain in this extremely sad time.

    Thank you all for believing in him, he left us knowing how much he was loved.

  • Cost breakdown & treatment update

    The cost to Ronnie for Cetuximab will be $20,000.

    The cost to have this administered will be at a private hospital every fortnight comes with a cost of $1,500. Per dose= $3000 per month.

    Unsure how many doses' but on estimation of 12

    administrations will come to a cost of $18,000.

    Medication fee $20,000

    Administering fee $18,000 (estimated on 12 doses)

    Total $38,000

  • Treatment update & breakdown of costs

    Ronnie will begin Chemo this Tuesday, followed by an appointment at a private hospital where he will receive a non-funded medication that compliments the chemo, it is call Cetuximab.

    This medication will be a shared cost with the pharmaceutical company where they pay half, so this takes some of the added stress away from Ronnie and his family.

    The cost to Ronnie for Cetuximab will be $20,000.

    The cost to have this administered will be at a private hospital every fortnight comes with a cost of $1,500 per dose= $3000 per month.

    Unsure how many doses' but on estimation of 12

    administrations will come to a cost of $18,000.

    Administering fee $18,000 (estimated on 12 doses)

    Total $38,000

    This value could change should the dose increase or decrease. Further costs to family for travel, accommodation etc will be a "give a little" page supported by his daughter to reach out to her family in New Zealand, America and the world of basketball which her family are still strongly involved in.

    Personally from Ronnie to all his work colleagues a big thank you for your support and encouragement to win this battle.

    Firstly, thank you so much for your support, Ronnie is overwhelmed and so so grateful.

    Ronnie has had his first appointment with the oncologist to discuss the next treatment plan. Our focus over the next couple weeks is on getting enough funds to kick start this new treatment.

    Its a long healing road ahead for Ronnie, however looking very promising with thanks to all of the amazing donations, making this treatment possible.
