Lost everything in Cyclone Gabrielle

Hi everyone, my name is Breanna. My beautiful sister- Abby & her little family have been hit hard from the recent cyclone that took place in Napier and been completely wiped out & lost absolutely everything they own. They aren’t the type to ask for help, but I know they need it now more then ever.

Their house has been completely wiped out- including their contents and nothing was able to be saved. My sister has car insurance but not contents so all of that is gone! My sisters car was also crushed by a container and is now floating with the house down the river. They have an 8 year old boy, a 17th month old daughter and another baby on the way- due early June.

The financial burden on them is super heavy at the moment and I know they need any help they can get. They have lost everything from clothes, to car seats, prams & cots so have to start from the beginning again. There has been so many kind & generous people who have already helped immensely and we appreciate it more than words can even begin to explain.

This has been a rough week for many and I totally understand that everyone is dealing with their losses & struggles so please dont feel pressured at all to give anything. If you are in the position where you are able to help- any help is appreciated and will go a long way. Thank you so so much.
