To quote a friend “Never in a million years”

I never thought that my life would be where it is right now, but here we are. A few weeks ago, my mom ended up in the hospital where she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. She had built up a massive amount of fluid in her lungs that would have been fatal if she hadn’t gotten there on time. The doctors have said that if she doesn’t start chemotherapy, she will only have about 6 months left to live.

She stayed almost 3 weeks in the hospital, taking up a hefty bill. Now, her health insurance is only covering part of her treatments that start this week. My mom had to retire from work for obvious reasons and the retirement which she is receiving is barley enough to get by.

If you know my mom - you know how hard she has worked her whole life. She was a single mom, working without a day off so that she could give me the best life possible.

I wish I could heal her. I wish I could magically make all her expenses go away. But unfortunately, the amount of bills coming in are too much for either of us. So I am asking for help. For my mom I would do anything.

I am asking that (if you are in a position to do so) you please donate to help ease her current financial burden so that she can spend the time that she has left without having to worry about how she is going to survive financially. Every little bit counts.
