We just wanted to provide you with an update on Hugo. We are now 6 cycles through a 12 cycle protocol with cycle 7 to start on Monday. It has been a tough few weeks with Hugo picking up chicken pox and the flu in quick succession leading to some unplanned hospital stays. But he continues to take it in his stride.

Hugo had scans recently. The results are promising with continued positive response to his current treatment. A new lung nodule has shown up, however with everything else responding his team are confident this is likely the result of either chicken pox or the flu infection causing inflammation in the lung. We will scan again earlier than normal to be sure.

Recently Hugo has started horse therapy sessions which have been kindly offered by a local business "Whispering Hope - https://whisperinghope.co.nz/". We are really proud of how he is putting himself out there and trying new things.

As always, thank you for all your support. It means so much to us!

Love Aaron, Sam, Hugo and Louis xoxo

We want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your generosity. We are blown away by the continued support everyone has shown our family during this tough time. Your kindness means we can ensure Hugo is receiving the best care he can and we can be with him supporting right through this journey.

Hugo continues to show amazing resilience in the face of this tough journey and we are so proud of him.

We are now 3 cycles into a planned 12 cycle treatment protocol. Hugo had his first treatment scans last week in the middle of cycle 3. We are really pleased to share that his chemotherapy is working with his primary tumor shrinking to half the size and all other lesions shrinking or disappearing. We know we have a long way to go but this first step was a very welcome relief.

We have also been incredibly lucky to have some amazing people and charities provide some amazing experiences for Hugo from VIP treatment at the Auckland Football game, a long weekend at a holiday home out West Auckland, helicopter ride and even a little acting role on Shortland Street (keep an eye out in September).

    Thank you all so much.

Love Aaron, Sam, Hugo and Louis xo
