We are Chicks from Corea. An up and coming jazz band, made up of students from Burnside High School in Christchurch.
We have the opportunity to represent our school and Christchurch at the National Youth Jazz Competition in Tauranga this June but as you can imagine this will not be a cheap trip!!
As a band we have won numerous awards and each of us has been recognised for our skill and talent with our respective instruments.
Your gift today will help take us to the next level in our performing careers, representing Christchurch and introducing more people, especially teens, to the amazing world of jazz.
Please support the work we are doing by giving your best gift today, so we can spread the sound of jazz to fresh ears everywhere.
Use of funds
We are 5 members and 2 parent chaperones . Money will be spend on return Flights form Christchurch to Tauranga , Hotel Accommodation for 2 nights, Food and Registration Fees. The cost is $700 per person. Our goal is $4900.00.

Come on up to Fat Eddie's for Ed's Jazz Club, every Thursday night. Reserved Seating will get you your own table on the main floor (best seats in the house) or grab a spot anywhere else with a General Admission ticket. Fat Eddie's have a delicious menu and of course their ultra-special drinks menu, so take Thursday night off and come into town to enjoy some of the best jazz Christchurch has to offer.
