Showing the love and a helping hand to Grant and Diane

So as most of you know, Dad has been at rehab plus in Pt Chev for the past 7 weeks. He started off with a very rough start with infections and a hospital bug but seems to be fighting strong physically. He has been well cared for by the nurses and the whole team there. He has had physio, OT and SLT most days. Whilst there has been small improvements there has not been enough to continue receiving this level of rehab so he is being moved to a rest home/private hospital on Lincoln Road tomorrow. Thankfully they still have physio etc there so we will continue to work with Dad. He still isnt really aware of who we are most of the time. He can not walk or eat and still does not follow commands most of the time either. He still has his sense of humour and will laugh with us at times, actually a little more as each day passes which of course we all love. So whilst Dad is at Carnarvon and improving by little bits we will be doing up the garage at his place to hopefully get him home for days or weekends in the future. Due to funding Mum is unable to get a hospital bed, hoist or anything else she needs to have Dad at home as they will only pay for him to be at Carnarvon. So all money raised will be going towards doing up the garage, hospital bed a hoist and anything else my awesome Daddyo needs to be surrounded by his family and friends.
