Auckland

The work we are doing is working, unfortunately, the need is increasing so much faster than we can handle with limited resource, we have. Please consider donating to help us continue and reach out to more in need.

Love Soup is not-for-profit with our food rescue plan, collecting good food that would be either dumped or given to farmers, providing free healthy focused meals, Distribution of Food to organisations that give to those in need,

we help over 1000 people a week on the hibiscus Coast

Launched 18th June ...Hibiscus Coast Auckland.

Our goal is to alleviate hunger & Poverty by soliciting, collecting, growing, and packaging food for distribution through a network of service agencies and programs that serve our target population groups. Love Soup to seek support from the community, charitable organizations, Funding applications and corporate sponsorship.

Our client base is low-income people, mainly families & elderly, who need emergency help to put food on the table. Via supporting the organisations that are already doing this. With extra access to fresh produce and bread.

Our services improve the ability of families to care for children, and achieve goals of self-sufficiency. Love Soup services, are a small investment in comparison to cost of ignoring the problem of hunger in the county and the influence it has on a number of health and crime issues.

Food Rescue Began May 22nd Helping Schools, and Organisations around Hibiscus Coast.

About us

Love Soup started in 2013, giving out soup during Matariki. Pretty soon we were a fully blown food rescue charity in Whangaparāoa. Partnering with food providers, like supermarkets, to rescue good food that would have gone to waste and help turn it into nourishing meals to deliver to the people in our communities who really need them.

We have done a lot of growing since we first began. We are now rescuing and delivering good food with our partners in Whangaparāoa, Auckland, Huntly, Ngaruawahia, Hamilton, Tokoroa, Rotorua and Te Kuiti and running 5 kitchens of our own in Auckland + 1 in Tokoroa! Feeding anyone and everyone who needs it.

We believe that it is not only our mission to feed people, but to treat our guests with the dignity and love that we would a guest in our own home, providing our service without judgement or expectation.

We are completely run by our wonderful volunteers and are very proud of what we have accomplished and look forward to helping even more people as we continue.
