Loving Aid for Bex, Tyler, Penny and Future Geophysicists
Financial support for the immediate family of Matt Harris in the wake of his unexpected passing.

Our beautiful Matt, Harris, Uncle Harry has left us unexpectedly in a terrible accident.
He leaves behind his beloved Bex, my sister, and their two beautiful children, Tyler and Penny.
Harris was a hero among men. A devoted father and unwaveringly loving husband.
Truly one of the greats, words fall short of the extraordinary impact he has had on the lives of soo many. His capacity for contribution to all in his world is boundless.
His loss cannot be quantified but I would like to put the call out to all those whose lives he nourished to give what they can to take the pressure off Bex returning to work - ACC and any insurances are pending a coroners report which will take some time to conclude, and as a buffer for any needs that may arise during this endless time of immeasurable loss.
Bex also has an intention to create a geophysics scholarship to send Matt's legacy of awesomeness into our future.

Use of funds
Funds will go towards essential living costs to help create a financial buffer for the family over the coming weeks and months. Any unused funds will be used in the future to create a scholarship for young persons wanting to enter the study of Geophysics.

Thank you soo much for your generosity. Bex, Tyler and Penny are busy with the beginnings of the year - Tyler's first day of intermediate is tomorrow and Penny is back at Gladstone next week.
Any of you who have experienced grief will know it unfurls in its own way, unique to each person.
The coroners report is still some time away and the obligation to return to work is weighing on Boodies shoulders - not just financially but in service to both her patients and colleagues.
Please keep sharing to help soften the need for the former and to continue to build a way to let Harry's legacy live on the form of a scholarship for our future geophysicists.
