It was brought to my attention last night that "yeet my meat" is a double entendre for a rather vulgar expression of masturbation. I was not aware of this during the inception of this page and it was completely unintentional. My sincerest apologies to any distress this has caused for my supporters and the wider community, but I will not be amending this as I feel that it it's pretty brilliant. Thank you, and adieu.

With that out of the way, I would like to talk on some serious matters of progress. As of the 12th of May I will have been 12 weeks off HRT, and will be commencing fertility storage. This is a requirement for me to engage in getting an orchidectomy referral, with the surgical process hopefully happening in early 2021. This is a massive relief and will help in aiding my issues with genital dysphoria.

I want to keep my supporters up to date with where I'm at, and once again thank all of you for your unequivocal support during this process. It hasn't been, and is not easy but it's a necessity for achieving the life I want to be living. The orchidectomy in no way changes the desire for vaginoplasty, nor the costs involved but is a publicly funded procedure with relatively achievable accessibility. I have a wonderful trans health key worker, and am with an extremely informed and supportive sexual health clinic.

This fundraiser ends in September 2020, and I doubt I'll be achieving my stated goal during this time but will create a new fundraiser once this one has expired and deduct the amount already raised from the total goal. I also wanted to address my comment about putting my own savings into this page, which is something I will not be doing. Givealittle take a 5% fee from each donation, and as I'm raising funds for my own surgery it makes no sense to lose 5% of that which I save just so that it accurately reflects my progress towards my goal. I'm a student, and certainly not wealthy but I put what I can away into savings to go towards this procedure. My financial position has significantly improved over the last few months and I anticipate being able to put more money away for this procedure, and that will be reflected in the goal of the new fundraiser too.

Once again, I want to thank you all for your support, and remind everyone who has donated that they are entitled to a terrible doodle of their choice, redeemable at any time, lovingly scribbled by me, sent in the postal system and the envelope will even include a significant amount of saliva from sealing the envelope. Gosh, what a deal!

Nāku iti noa, nā Lucy Stephanie Sky 💕

  • Let's make it a lil' less intimidating

      25 September 2019

Obviously, my goal will change in time as prices and whats required are clarified, and I will funnel what savings I can into this page too but I'm just putting together a rough estimate at the moment so we can be realistic about how costly these sort of procedures can be :(

To everyone who has donated so far, thank you so very much. To anyone who's considered it, or shared this page, thank you so much. The support and love I feel from your actions doesn't go unnoticed and I hope nothing but the best for all of you.

    Ngā mihi nui, nē.
