Lucy's Surgery Fund

We have a beautiful little Shih Tzu crossed with a Bichon Frise, Her name is Lucy, and she is 8 years old. She is a much-loved member of our family.

We had to take her to the vet recently because she has, recurring ear infections. Whilst at the vet, it was discovered that she had lumps around her breasts in her mammary glands, and requires an operation to remove them and have them tested, as there is a 50% chance that they are malignant.

At the beginning of the year we had to have our 16 year old Shih Tzu cross with a Jack Russell, Teddy Wicket , put to sleep, and Lucy was and is so lost without him, so are we.

We are heartbroken as we cannot afford to pay for the surgery. My Husband is on a pension, and I am unable to work due to severe health problems.

If you are able to help that would be wonderful, and we would be so grateful. We do know times are very tough at the moment.
