Hello Luke!
Long ago that I follow you guys because I identified with the history of life. My name is Tania, I am Brazilian and in 2013 my husband and I were living in Auckland. I have a brother who lives is about 10 years in Auckland. So, unfortunately in November 2013, my husband suffered a serious stroke . It was so severe that the removal of the skull was necessary. In March 2014 we returned to Brazil because I was not able to work and take care of him alone. He got sequels but now he is a little better. His right side was hit. But today he is able to walk with a stick help, the right arm moves a little and can speak only a few words. My husband has always been a healthy man without vices. The doctors said that the stroke was due to a sudden movement with the neck / head or perhaps genetic. He will take exams next week to know why. When I found you guys, I saw a light at the end of the tunnel, a chance to be able to have him back. Please, I would love to be able to have contact with you and receive more information about the treatment. Can you help me with informations?
Thank you and I wish you the best of life for you. God bless! Everything will be fine! My e-mail is: taniamadunz@gmail.com ...... Thank you so much!

Hi Luke
My brother in law suffered bacterial meningitis 18 months ago, it lead to 5 strokes. His initial diagonisis was that his recovery would be very limited.
He is now able to walk and has most function of his arm back thanks to stroke rehab.
He is still unable to talk and has restricted movement on his right arm.
Like you he has a young boy aged 7 that he desperately wants to converse with.
We have been looking into Dr Tobinicks treatment centre also - we are worried about the validity and appropriateness of the treatment. Have you been able to research more indepth details of success rates and patient condtiions that respond to this radical treatment?
Luke
Hi Mick D,
Firstly, apologies for the late response, we only just discovered your question now.
Sorry to hear about your brother in law, what an awful thing for your family to have to go through.
Unfortunately Dr Tobinick's treatment wasn't the miracle that Luke was hoping for, but we have absloutley no regrets about giving it a go. There a lots of sucess stories from people who have benefitted from the treament, it seems that each individual case is so very different. The brain is such a complicated thing.
We sincerely wish your brother in law all the best with his recovery.
