Help us to help others by donating so we can gift merino blankets to whānau in need to safely sleep their pēpi (babies) and keep them warm.
Marlborough
The Omaka Marae Māori Women's Welfare League are on a mission to ensure all pēpi (babies) in Marlborough are safe and warm in their beds by gifting merino blankets to whānau in need.
We love wool!!! Wool keeps pēpi warm in the cold, and cool in the heat. It is a safe natural fibre to sleep pēpi in because it regulates body temperature.
We live in a country that farms sheep but woollen blankets are expensive to buy. So please help us help others, by making a koha (donation) to our cause "Mahana", which simply means "to keep warm".
All funds raised goes towards purchasing merino blankets for pēpi (babies) to gift to whānau in need.
