Maia had surgery on the 14th August to have an ICP monitor put in the brain to check pressure in the brain. After 48hrs of monitoring the pressure was normal. Drs did say it was low which isn't really normal but they don't tnink it's causing what's going on with her.
Maia had an EEG has come back clear so another test ruled out to what is causing Maia's deterioration.
Maia is on the acute list for surgery today( 14th August)but may not get in until tomorrow morning. She will have a monitor put on the brain to check pressure and they will monitor it for 48hrs. EEG came back normal.
She now also is on a naval gastric feeding tube.
All Blacks fan this blanket goes everywhere with her. Trying to get her all Blacks top off is next to impossible she said it keeps her safe.
