My best friend started with her orthodontic treatment with Saad Al-Mozamy in February 2017. Her appointment was set once a month visit to re-adjust her braces. Casey who was 14 at that time, needed braces at the top and bottom which we paid for in full- cash up front to get the 5% discount and Invisalign treatment after the braces. In April 2017, they phoned and said that Saad cannot make the appointment due to an illness in the family and that they need to move my appointment to the end of May, and that he will contact us to make this appointment. Well-being the end of May 2018 and Casey not been for her appointment for 2 months, her mother tried phoning their office with no reply. Eventually Casey’a mother send an email to ask the institute to contact her urgently. Being worried with no reply via both phone and email- her mother went to the practise only to find out out that the doors are shut and they no longer operate. Casey’s mother was aware that Saad had a practise in Australia. Casey’s mother located the contact number from the Australian Orthodontic Council. The council said that Saad’a licences was revoked due to poor treatment. Casey’s parents paid $8000 upfront for her full treatment which is not completed and didn’t have any more money to pay for another orthodontist.
