Make me a Mum!

If you have ever met me, you've heard how much I want to be a mum.

A few years ago, I began investigating having a baby on my own through a sperm donor - or becoming a Single Mother by Choice. I found a whole new world of women who shared my story, and I started to believe that my dream could possibly become a reality. Eighteen months ago, I joined the waiting list for a sperm donor - a process I was told could take up to four years.

Three weeks ago, I got a phone call to say I have reached the top of the list - whenever I'm ready, I can go and choose a donor.

This is where you come in. To have a cycle of intra-uterine insemination (IUI) with donor sperm costs $2300, and I will need 4-5 cycles to get pregnant.

I know life can be tough, and money is tight - but it would mean the world to me if you could help me on my journey to becoming a Mum.
