Make Yandri's dream to represent New Zealand a reality

Join Yandri on her remarkable racewalking journey, which began at just ten years old when she faced disqualification in her debut race at the Auckland championships. Instead of deterring her, this setback ignited her determination to train harder.

Since that initial race, Yandri has demonstrated unwavering perseverance, claiming numerous National Titles, including victories at the NZ Track and Field Championships and the NZ Secondary Schools Championships. Currently, she is the top-ranked NZ women's U/18 and U/20 race walker over 5 km.

Following an excellent 2024 NZ Track and Field season, Yandri has earned the honour of representing New Zealand at the Oceania Athletic Championship in Fiji. She'll be part of a team representing New Zealand at the championships in Fiji from June 2nd to 9th, 2024. Before this she will attend intensive training camps leading up to the event.
