Help me get to Nationals and Worlds 2024
Canterbury
I first started bodybuilding purely as a distraction after a marriage breakup. 4 months later and starting to open the second bottle of red every night to drown my sorrows, I decided I was going to either sink or swim. I realised I am better than this. So off I went on a journey that not only has saved my life but has become a huge part of it on a daily basis. Going to the gym is now a non negotiable. Bodybuilding is more than just a sport or a distraction for me now; it is a lifestyle that embodies discipline, perseverance, and continuous self-improvement. Over the past 2.5 years, I have committed myself to rigorous training, strict nutrition, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. I turn 46 this year. I have competed twice and won both times. As a single mum of 3 on a single income, I struggle day to day. I would dearly love to be able to make my dream come true and compete at Nationals in Hamilton in Sept and then Worlds in November in Canberra. But it all comes as a huge cost. One I can’t do alone. My journey has inspired me to create a community of amazing strong women that don’t let their “Shituations” determine their future. Hear my full story on my podcast “fighting fit over 40” on Spotify. Your support means the absolute world to me and I am indescribably grateful. 🩷🩷🩷
