Around 6 weeks ago my dear friend Kim received the devasting news she has stage 4 Cancer.

Around 6 weeks ago my dear friend Kim received the devasting news she has stage 4 Cancer. Her initial diagnosis was germ cell overian cancer. Kim had a biopsy which showed the cancer had spread to her lungs, lymph nodes and liver. A second biospy then revealed the Cancer has also matastasised to her muscles (Rhabdomyosarcoma). Kim has started Chemotherapy to help try and shrink the Cancer but has been told that there is only a 1 percent chance she will survive.

Kim has always wanted to travel the South Island even more so now to make memories with her two young children and give them all something positive to look forward too.
