An opportunity to support a young whānau navigating the heartbreaking journey of their 3 year old boy’s leukaemia diagnosis. ❤️
Bay of Plenty
Our precious 3-year-old son / mokopuna / nephew, Manaia Hudson, has been recently diagnosed with leukaemia, and our whānau are facing a journey no family is ever prepared for.
Manaia has begun his treatment at Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland, where his parents are by his side, giving him all the love, strength and comfort they can. As they navigate the uncertainty and challenges ahead, they also face the financial pressure of being away from home, including travel, accommodation, everyday bills and living expenses.
We have created this Givealittle page to rally around Manaia and his whānau during this incredibly difficult time. Every koha, no matter how big or small, will help ease some of that pressure so his parents can focus on what matters most - being there for their boy.
We are incredibly grateful for any support you are able to give. Whether you make a koha or share this page with others, please know that your kindness will make a huge difference to Manaia and our whānau. Every contribution will be sincerely appreciated & will help ease the financial pressure on Manaia’s whānau while they focus on his treatment and recovery.
Mā te kotahitanga me te aroha, ka kaha ake tātou
We are a close-knit whānau of parents, Nans and Koros, aunties and uncles, all coming together to support Manaia and his parents through this challenging journey. As whānau, we stand united in aroha, strength and support every step of the way.
Funds will help ease the financial pressure for Donald & Chantal while they focus on their little boy’s treatment, covering lost income, travel to and from hospital, rent, food, petrol and everyday living expenses.
