Mangrove Conservation in the Philippines

$368 of $2,000 goal
Given by 14 generous donors in 7 weeks

We will spend 1 week in a rural village of the Philippines planting mangroves, cleaning up the coastline, and educating in local schools.

Wellington

We will be spending one week in the Philippines doing volunteer conservation for the mangroves and surrounding coast. The work we will do will vary from going into local village schools and educating about the importance of mangroves in the coastal ecosystem, as well as planting mangroves and cleaning the coastline to support a healthy ecosystem.

Use of funds

The money raised will go purely toward the registration and project fees for our trip. The money will not support our flight, travel insurance, vaccinations, unpaid time off work, and obviously, the work we will be doing in the Philippines.
