$310 donated
Given by 8 generous donors in 25 days

We aim to encourage our children to read more often, explore a variety of texts, and enjoy the experience of reading.

Mount Albert, Auckland

We are Raising Funds to further develop and enhance literacy opportunities for all our children. The funds raised will help us purchase additional resources such as Reading Eggs and other reading materials that will strengthen and enrich our existing reading resources.

These resources will be available across all year levels and will cater to a wide range of reading abilities and interest, helping to foster a lifelong love of reading and learning.

About us

Marist school is a caring and inclusive community. We have a proud history and tradition imbued with the spirit of Mary and founded by the Marist Sisters.

Use of funds

We would love to purchase Reading Eggs Resources and other Engaging Resources that reflect a variety of interests and reading levels that will enhance our literacy programmes across all year levels.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
