Mark Miller ...the saga continues

  • Great news ...

      22 May 2018

Hi all, great news today. Mark is doing so much better and it looks like he might be home on Thursday. That’s probably the end of me reporting back for a while but thank you all so much for banding together to support John and Suzanne, MARK, David, Rachel Renee and Alex during what has been a pretty rough few years (understatement of the decade). Here’s to a great future Mark, long and healthy 🙏.

  • Day 4

      20 May 2018

Hi all, the update for the day is That is has been good to see improvement. With the trauma of the last couple of days poor old Mark got off to a slow start but that is hopefully behind him now. Still not a good time to visit as Mark’s focus is on recovery but he appreciates all your love and knows that everyone is wishing him the best and that right now he is saturated in prayers. Thanks everybody 😊

  • Day 3

      19 May 2018

    Here’s the latest 😊

Well that was a long day...arrived up at the hospital around 7.30 to find a very pale lethargic young man, after some discussion between the surgeon and nurses some bloods were taken ...as a result found Marks haemoglobin levels were way down due to some internal bleeds associated with his surgery necessitating a blood transfusion ..poor old Mark was in a pretty bad way for most of the day...good news is he has responded well and in the last 1/2 an hour has perked up a little...been a tough day for the boy...thanks for all the prayers...keep them coming AND here’s hoping that he gets a full nights sleep tonight so that that recovery process can begin 😊👍

  • It’s a new day

      19 May 2018

Here is this mornings report from Mark’s dad ....

Thank you all for your support and love for Mark yesterday. Things were looking pretty scary there for a bit. However once The medical team realised that Mark was reacting in the worst way to the pain medication they adjusted his treatment accordingly and he is on the improve.

We are hoping for a more settled day today, yesterday was tough and hopefully the toughest one is now behind him.

  • Surgery day

      17 May 2018

Hi all, just a moment to say a huge thank you for all that you have donated so far. Today, right now in fact, Mark is having his surgery. So if you’re a praying person please pray. It is expected that he will have two days in the high dependency unit and then up to another week in hospital.

If you’ve been following this page you will notice that we are a bit short regarding reaching the goal so if you could maybe share this page with friends I know Marks family would really appreciate any extra help.

I will endeavour to keep everyone updated over the next few, very important days.

    Love and gratitude,

    Mary
