Matt will be running a Half Marathon every day at Run72, raising funds for mental wellbeing & suicide prevention in NZ Construction industry

Canterbury

Hey everyone!

At the Annual Run72 event hosted by UC Club Lads Without Labels; I will be running a Half Marathon everyday between the 22nd-25th September to raise funds for mental health & mental wellbeing for those in the Construction industry.

Statistically on average we are losing 1 construction worker every 5 days to Suicide in Aotearoa; these aren’t just numbers. These are our brothers and sisters, a member of our overarching whanau struggling.

Mental health & wellbeing is a topic that hits close to home for me. With a lot of loved ones and myself being directly and indirect dealing with the everyday struggles of life. I have chose MATES In Construction as my charity where 100% of my funds raised will be going towards. A charitable organisation facilitating conversations with our nations construction workers to normalise connection, and conversation with our mates we work with day to day.

Every dollar and every bit of support goes a long way. Be the change, make the difference and move the needle of taking care of your mates with me.

Use of funds

All funds raised will be donated to MATES In Construction.
