Matt has broken his neck and is determined to walk again. Help fund the treatment he needs.
Manawatu / Whanganui
During Matt and the kid’s annual visit at our place, a day of catching up with an old friend suddenly took a tragic turn and has significantly changed our friend’s life.
Over the past 14 weeks we have watched Matt battle to regain the ability to walk again after suffering a serious spinal injury in our pool. While Matt has made steady progress he has a long way to go.
Anyone who knows Matt will know it’s not in his nature to give up, or put his hand out for help. He is focussed on a full recovery, getting back to a normal life and back to his teaching career.
With Matt’s determination and grit we know he will get there. But like it or not, Matt does need our help on this road to recovery.
He is wanting to use a spinal rehab treatment called Neurophysics, which has had amazing results helping spinal injuries.
Most people haven't heard of Neurophysics but the results are outstanding. Here is 60 Minutes covering one mans results. Copy and paste this link.

Funds raised will go towards using the Neurophysics rehab treatment.
News Update: 3 News tonight 18 January 2018
Hello everyone
Once again I it's been too long between posts but I am hoping that this one catches you all up to where I'm at with progress and what next for me.
Today I spent some time with Mike McRoberts from 3 news, News Hub, doing an interview for tonights 6 o'clock news. I won't say any more but let you watch and hopefully enjoy.
I hope you all understand how important your kind donations were in getting me to where I am.
Unfortunately, when I get back to Singapore I will be having to fund my continued rehab. With that in mind I would appreciate you sharing my page with people who you think could help me complete this journey I have been forced to take on.
I think that there is probably going to be a number of people who find themselves taking on the same journey that I am on and hopefully they take some hope and inspiration from what I am managing to achieve. I want to be there for those people at a personal level and if they are reading this they can contact me on:
News Hubs website is www.newshub.co.nz where you can see the news story once published.
Like I have said before but can't emphasis enough, it is your generous donations that have made this possible and I am just incredibly grateful!
THANK YOU
Hannah, you have already been very generous. You are an amazing friend. This is a pretty tough gig some days.
Your message will be displayed on the page and emailed to the donor.
Your new message will also be emailed to the donor.
