Matthew’s Kidney Journey

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to message an update and thank you all for giving so generously! From those in our trade space to those who know Matt and his whanau personally.

Matts been told by Dr’s that medically he’s got 1 year off mahi, he’s been lucky to secure some money through WINZ, but the amount is less than enough per week to do all he needs. While we are greatful for the system, we know it doesn’t always help.

The money you’ve all donated will help Matt top up his weekly expenses and also help him stay home for the year to make sure he can get back to full health before coming back to plastering. Court and I have agreed that we will keep his job there for him and we can’t wait to see him back on the tools but want him to have time to recover.

Over the next wee while we will also do some monthly raffles so keep an eye out!
