Support Max and Rose the "mini speed racers" in their upcoming adventure race and their journey to health and happiness.

Auckland

Max and Rosie are two minature horses that came into our care in November 2021. Sadly, Max and Rosie have had limited care during their life which has led to numerous health issues.

Rosie is horribly overweight which has caused her feet to twist and affects her breathing, Max has had severe laminitis and has been diagnosed with cushings.

We've had the dentist visit, farrier and blood tests taken. Max also has an extremely long, thick coat so he gets clipped regularly. He look great but is very proud of his new look!

Over the last 2 months both ponies have thrived with care, love and adventures! Their playful personalities have started to shine and they make us laugh daily.

Our goal with Max and Rosie is to get them fit, healthy and to find them a long term lease home where they can go out on regular adventures.

As part of our goal and Rosie's weight loss journey, we have signed them up for a month of fitness with https://www.borntorunadventureracing.org/ commencing on the 15th March. We will be sharing our progress on Instagram so follow us: https://instagram.com/mini.speed.racers?utm_medium=copy_link
