The WA Field training camp over the weekend was an incredible experience being held at two different field clubs. On Saturday, we were at Lakeview Archery Club, tackling challenging up-and-downhill targets. Jason and his son Jack guided us through the course, which featured shots from 25 to 35 meters at 30-degree angles. It was a tough but enjoyable day.
Sunday's venue was Massey Archery Club, where we had the opportunity to shoot on WAS target faces. The course here offered a variety of terrains from dense bush to open clearings, making for dynamic shooting experience. Overall, it was a rewarding day of practice.
The camp concluded with Murry Prowse presenting the team shirts on behalf of Archery New Zealand. It was a fantastic way to end the camp, especially getting to know fellow team members over the weekend Kelly Atkinson, Emily Cavell. This experience has been a thrilling step toward the upcoming competition - 20 days to go!!!
