Haven't updated in a few weeks, we've had a hiccup and out date postponed. We need to investigate and put in place some options for fertility, as Mea is having full body radiation and chemo, she will likely be infertile. This has pushed us back for at least 2mths, with constant monitoring of Mea while we wait.

Yesterday Mea had a BMA, this is done under GA, to check her marrow. Starship wants to be able to compare these results from previous BMAS before transplant. Overall a positive day, Mea is an absolute trooper, we are in awe of her bravery everyday, every procedure.

Mea ia due to get another hickman line soon, this is a central line in her chest, of which she will receive chemotherapy, medications, and her transplant.

With a hickman Mea cannot get it wet, no swimming, full showers etc.

For our water baby this is super hard.

One of Meas besties picked her up yesterday for a day of fun and swimming, the whole pool to themselves.

    Making the most of it.

This week Mea has had a lung function test, an Echo and some bloods, all preparation for Starship.

Stella, her sister, and half matched donor also had some check up bloods too.

    1 step closer to BMT.
