Help Chef John to help BEAUTIFUL SAMOA!

It’s been a few weeks of my wife and I sadly watching updates on Facebook of our loved ones, friends, family and the people in Samoa dealing with this Measles epidemic that is taking lives and mostly children under 5 and the number continues to rise daily.

There are many people doing so much for the people of Samoa and we wanted to contribute the best way we thought. We have seen many item collection drives for containers to be sent from NZ and Australia which is awesome. However, we would like to raise money instead which we will send to a nominated organisation in Samoa to allocate where needed.

During my time operating my business in Samoa I have been blessed to have made many connections with very reputable organisations that we know and trust will do the right thing with this money. We will be transparent in all transactions and how much is sent and where it goes. We just want to help how we can. As great as the containers and items will be, there are still financial needs on the ground as well. Unless you are on the ground there, you can only assume as much as possible what the needs are.

This epidemic is very sad and breaks our hearts and we can’t stand by and watch anymore. So if you can donate just $1 everything and anything will count. However, we do ask you to dig deep.

As they are in the thick of this epidemic, it means the sooner we can raise the funds the better. So we will be ambitious because of this and because Christmas is around the corner and we would like to send this contribution before Christmas day. This could help so many people especially at this time of the year.
