West Coast
Sultan Mohammed originally from Lautoka, Fiji had a major stroke within just couple of days after landing in Christchurch NZ on 3/10/2019 where he was visiting his children. His condition currently is critical and still remains in intensive care unit but with no signs of recovering. As he did not have travel/medical insurance in place, with this heartbreaking news the family also have to deal with financial hardship to accommodate for the daily hospital charges as his not NZ resident. In order to transport him back to Fiji, he needs to be escorted with a medical team by 'air ambulance' which will be very costly. At the moment the hospital cost has reached $28,850 and its kind generosity of Greymouth Hospital that the treatment is still going on which means the cost will increase as per day. With the upcoming transport cost of medical escort to Fiji the total expenses is expected to rise very high. While families are getting to provide emotional support for the family in this hard times, this fundraising is intended to give some peace of mind to the family to assist with part of the costs. Hence we kindly request to please open your hearts and donate generously in this hard times. Every contribution will surely make a difference. May Allah bless you all for this good deed.
Father. Raising money to send him back to Fiji in a special medical flight which has to be assisted with medical teams.
Hopefully if we reach our goal funds will be used to pay current outstanding bill of $28,850 and upcoming day to day cost and also to transport him back to Fiji with required medical assistance.
