Messed up from Mesh - Help Hannah get Total Removal

  • Countdown begins

      19 August 2018

In less than a week, we will be on our way to St Louis, Missouri, USA.

This has been an incredible journey ... humbling and encouraging. The words “thank you” don’t seem enough but they are said with sincerity from grateful and thankful hearts. Every dollar donated has meant less financial stress for the family. I have seen the load lift with every donation so thank you again.

I have created a Facebook group called Hannah’s Journey which I will use for updates, etc over the month we are away. Please feel free to follow us there.

This is the last post from the Givealittle site which closes on Saturday when we fly out.

  • Not long now

      8 August 2018

In just a little over two weeks time we will be leaving for the USA and the surgery which will give Hannah back her quality of life. All the necessary arrangements have been made for the children and animals and the first big payment for the surgery has been made.

Again, we want to thank everyone for their generosity .... without your help this would be very difficult. We are humbled and grateful for every dollar which has been donated and for every time the page link has been shared and for every prayer made.

I will try and give one more update before we leave.

Hannah, her husband Ari and I will leave NZ for St Louis on August 25 for her surgery which is scheduled for August 31. Donations received so far have helped tremendously towards her flight and accommodation costs. Thank you.

  • Thank you

      21 July 2018

It’s less than 2 days since this page was launched for Hannah and we have been humbled by the donations already received. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity.

Hannah has been in contact with other women who have been affected by this mesh surgery and had positive experiences with the surgeon who has accepted Hannah. They are saying things like

“you will love him. He is amazing and truely dedicated to his patients”

“You are in the best hands with Dr V. He is the best”

“Go ahead Hannah. You are in excellent hands.”

“He is known as the sling slayer for a good reason”

“He has an incredible reputation. He is known to stay in the surgery room until all the mesh is out no matter how long it takes. He also has his instruments specially made for him for mesh removal.”
